PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to perform the calling without holding a portable telephone set with his/her hand by providing an arch-shaped wire for the portable telephone set and hooking it on an ear of the user. SOLUTION: A fulcrum 3 is set on a side face 6 of a portable telephone set 4 and an arm 2 can turn at a fixed angle around the fulcrum 3. An arch- shaped wire 1 is attached on the arm 2 at an offset angle. Then the arm 2 is turned, and the wire 1 is hooked on one's ear. A speaker 5 is set at the position of the ear, when the wire 1 is hooked on the ear of a user. Thus, the user of the telephone set 4 can talk without having to hold the set 4. When the telephone set 4 is not in use, the arm 2 is turned back and the wire 1 can be stored on the set 4 in a flat state. As a result, the user does not need to hold the telephone set 4 during a telephone call, and the set 4 can be stored flat when it is not in use.
