PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the heat-developable image forming material improved in a state of a coated surface, especially, streaks in coating. SOLUTION: This heat-developable image forming material is provided on a support with at least one image recording layer containing at least one kind of nonphotosensitive organic silver salts and a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder and on this layer at least one nonrecording layer formed by applying a coating fluid containing dicarboxylic acids and having a pH of >=3.5 and drying it.
