<p>A communication system and a method for performing telephone calls over a hybrid network using a web page (7). The communication system includes a computer system (5) having an Internet browser application for browsing the Internet, at least one audio input device (12), at least one audio output device (13) and a communication device (16) for communicating with the hybrid network.
