PURPOSE: An electro-luminescent lighting device using plain light source is provided to be thin, resist against impulse, have continuous lighting time longer than prior lamps, light various color and be less influenced on temperature. CONSTITUTION: An electro-luminescent lighting device using plain light source comprises a disk type main body(1), a plain light source(2), a light transmitter(3), a reflector(4) and a controller(5). The center of the main body(1) is opened. The plain light source(2) is uprightly mounted on the center of the body(1) and generates color lights in accordance with the output signals of the controller(5). The light transmitter(3) is mounted on one side of the aperture of the body(1) to transmit the light generated from the light source(20. The reflector(4) has a wire through hole(41) connected to the light source and is mounted on the other side of the aperture to reflect the light of the light source toward the light transmitter. The controller(5) has a high voltage converter(51) and selectively supplies AC voltage to the light source.
