PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining mixed fiber mats together, improving the quality of the abutted part mixed fiber mats and at the same time preventing the breakage on forming its sheet. SOLUTION: This method for joining mixed fiber mats in the present invention is provided by performing a treating process on the edge parts of the mixed fiber mats 50 with an end part processing device 27, abutting the edge parts of the processed mixed fiber mats 50 each other, supplying a mixed fiber material 70 having the same components with the mixed fiber mats 50, arranging a reinforced fiber cloth 80 formed with the same component as the reinforcing fiber 80A in the mixed fiber mats 50 or supplying a thermoplastic resin fiber 90 having the same component with the thermoplastic resin in the mixed fiber mats 50, and interlacing for joining by a needling.
