PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write-once optical information recording medium using a single-side reading method, which has two light-absorbing layers and which enables recording in high capacity. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium is produced by successively forming a first light-absorbing layer 2 containing org. dyes in which information can be recorded by irradiation of laser light through a substrate side, and a second light absorbing layer in this order on a substrate. A light- transmitting first barrier layer 3 and a light-transmitting second barrier layer 5 are formed between the first light-absorbing layer 2 and second light absorbing layer 6 in such a manner that the first barrier layer 3 is adjacent to the first light-absorbing layer 2 and the second barrier layer 5 is adjacent to the second light absorbing layer 6. |
