The sheet piling wall is constructed from support piles (2), which are driven into the ground in pairs, and in-fill piles, positioned in connecting locks in the intermediate space. Each support pile is positioned and orientated relative to a pile (2a) already in position via guide elements, which move on the neighboring pile. Each guide element (11) has a guide arm (12) placed on the top end of the in-situ pile, and coupled to the pile to be sunk. The arm also serves as spacer.
