NUCLEOTIDE EXTENSION ON A MICROARRAY OF GEL-IMMOBILIZED PRIMERS

Methods and compositions have been developed for nucleotide extension of primers immobilized within gel pads on a microchip using multibase primers o r multiple sets of primers, or combinations thereof. Molecules or parts of molecules are identified. The single base extension was amplified by carryin g out the reaction under elevated temperature.
