PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device having an effect for safe running by constituting the device to have a specific device which brings a manual steering operation prior to an automatic one during automatically controlling steering. SOLUTION: In a rice paddy working machine in which a steering operation of a traveling vehicle body is constituted so as to enable to change over an automatic steering operation and a manual one, this steering control device is constituted to bring a manual steering operation to take precedence when the traveling clutch device or the traveling brake device of a traveling vehicle body is operated during the automatic steering control. In a rice paddy working machine in which the steering operation of the traveling vehicle is capable of being constituted to be able to change over the automatic steering control and the manual one, the manual steering operation is brought to take precedence when the traveling vehicle is sunk deeper than a set standard value in the farm field during the automatic steering control.
