PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method and apparatus capable of removing unnecessary dye ink remaining in the vicinity of an emitting orifice for a short time by a reduced amt. of dye ink and recording a desired pattern or character on a material to be recorded and an ink jet dying method and apparatus for dyeing a desired pattern on a fabric. SOLUTION: In a recording method for emitting recording ink 10 to a material to be recorded while relatively moving the material to be recorded and/or a recording means to apply recording to the material to be recorded, the supply quantity and/or supply pressure of recording ink 10 to the recording means and the cross-sectional area of the recording ink supply piping 8 to the recording means are adjusted. |
