摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive power supply control apparatus that can be integrated easily by eliminating the need for a shunt resistor, that is connected in series with the supply path of power for detecting current for suppressing heat loss of the apparatus, achieving high-speed response even for an abnormal current, when layer short-circuits such as incomplete short- circuiting with a short-circuiting resistor occurs, and a power supply control method. SOLUTION: This power supply control method detects an abnormal current of a first semiconductor switch FETQA, performs on/off control of the first semiconductor switch FETQA when the abnormal current occurs for generating a vibration current, breaks the first semiconductor switch FETQA by the vibration current, compares the voltage between the drain and source of the first semiconductor switch FETQA with that between the drain and source of a second semiconductor switch reference FETQB with a comparator CMP1, and supplies a control voltage from a drive circuit 111 to the gate terminal of the first and second semiconductor switches FETQA and FETQB, according to the comparison result.
