APPARATUS FOR CRUSHING SOLIDIFIED SLAG LAYER IN MOLTEN SLAG TROUGH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing apparatus of a solidified slag layer in a molten slag trough with which the crushing work of the solidified slag layer in the molten slag trough is mechanized and the crushing work can efficiently be executed. SOLUTION: This crushing apparatus of the solidified slag layer 2 in the molten slag trough is provided with a weight 9 hung down from an arm 5 with a rope 8 and a weight dropping and pulling-up device for dropping and pulling up the weight 9. In the weight dropping and pulling-up device, a running block 11 hanging the rope 8 is arranged so as to be freely advanced/retreated to a shifting groove for the running block. A hook which can be freely engaged/ disengaged with the running block 11 is attached pivotally to a hook supporting shaft so as to be freely turned, and the hook supporting shaft is inserted into a hook shifting guide provided with a hook supporting shaft going path guide and a hook supporting shaft returning path guide. Further, a changing-over member freely turned for changing over the going path and the returning path of the hook supporting shaft is arranged to the hook supporting shaft going path guide and the hook supporting shaft returning path guide.
