METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VOLUME OF AUDIO CHANNEL IN OPTICAL DISK PLAYER

PURPOSE: A controlling method for audio channel volumes is provided to optionally control volumes for each channel to allow a user to conveniently listen to the sound. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a setup key for displaying a setup menu on a screen. An audio output terminal to be adjusted is selected from an OSD(On Screen Display) image. In case of selecting a front channel, a bar of the selected channel is displayed on the OSD image for adjusting weight value for a selected volume. In case of not selecting the bar, a rear channel is selected. Then, a bar of the selected rear channel is displayed on the OSD image for adjusting weight. By not selecting the rear channel, a center-serve channel is selected. Then, a bar of the center-serve channel is displayed on the OSD image for adjusting weight. Without selecting the center-serve channel, a setup menu is turned off.
