PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe and readily ingestible health auxiliary preparation having prevention of obesity and health auxiliary action concerning improvement on bowel movement by including leaf of mulberry, its powder, its extract and chitosan in a composition of the components. SOLUTION: This preparation is obtained by including 5-90 wt.% either one of leaf of mulberry, its powder and its extract, 5-60 wt.% chitosan and preferably further 1-30 wt.% either one of gluconic acid, glucono-delta-lactone and salts of gluconic acid. The preparation preferably has a form of tablet, granule and capsule. The effective daily intake amount of the preparation is orally 1-50 g/60 kg weight. It is preferable to obtain a health auxiliary beverage and food by including the above effective ingredient and gluconic acids. The beverage and food may be formulated in powdery state or liquid-like state. Total intake amount of the components is preferably 1-30 g. |
