<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the discharge of dross cake by raising the strength of a slit die which is so arranged as to receive and compress aluminum dross and separate the contained metal. SOLUTION: In an object which is so arranged as to accept aluminum dross onto a group of fixed crosspiece 4 and a group of mobile crosspiece 5 being arranged alternately, at right angles to a fixed shaft 1 on base side and a fixed shaft 2 on tip side counterposed in parallel, between those fixed shafts 1 and 2, and to squeeze and separate the fused metal contained in the aluminum dross by the compressive operation by a compression mechanism where a press plate is interposed properly, and to discharge the dross remaining on the group of crosspieces 4 and 5, by annularly rotating one end of the mobile crosspiece 5 on base end side, the bulging projections are made, for every second arranged crosspiece 1, at the fixed shaft on base side, and the tip side of each fixed crosspiece 4 is set in each recess between the bulging projections.</p> |
