PURPOSE: A glass melting furnace is provided to obtain a high quality glass product by reducing provision of a lower layer of a glass liquid to a molding device. CONSTITUTION: A glass melting furnace comprises a melting furnace for heating a glass material into a liquid phase, a feeder(10) having a flow channel(16) for flowing of the glass liquid supplied from the melting furnace, and a bowl(12) coupled to an end portion of the feeder so as to supply the glass liquid to a molding device, the glass melting furnace further comprising a resistant member arranged at a bottom surface(24) of the feeder and which suppresses flow rate of a lower layer of the glass liquid.
