PURPOSE: A method of transmitting contents programs is provided to perform on-line/off-line contents by downloading the contents including game programs and application programs with cellular phones to store the contents. CONSTITUTION: A method of transmitting contents programs for cellular phones comprises the steps of: if a cellular phone user connects to a server through a wireless internet, displaying menus of the server on a liquid crystal display(LCD) of a cellular phone; if a specific contents menu is selected, making the server request a usable memory capacity, a starting address, and specific information of the cellular phone through a script transmission; if a result is transmitted to the server from the cellular phone, making the server decide whether contents programs selected by the cellular phone are capable of being received; if the cellular phone is capable of receiving the programs, dividing the programs into packets for being transmitted one by one to deliver the packets to the script, and identifying whether the delivery processes are completed with unit results per packet to deliver the packets; if the cellular phone is not capable of receiving the programs, making the server inform the cellular phone of a downloading failure to return to the step of selecting mobile contents; and if the programs are downloaded, performing the downloaded programs, and if a push service for a final information state of a game is supplied to the server, uploading a result of the push service to store the result in a personal database.
