PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balcony unit which facilitates mounting work. SOLUTION: A second edge 30B has an erected portion 33 which upward protrudes therefrom and is arranged along the second edge 30B. The erected portion 33 is housed in a recess 51 formed in a second external wall surface 3B such that a side surface 33A of the erected portion 33 does not hang over from the second external wall surface 3B. Thus, the periphery of the erected portion 33 and an external wall face bar 17B along the periphery define a horizontally expanding gap therebetween, which is free from infiltration of naturally dropping water unlike in a vertically expanding gap. Therefore, to perform water proofing for the horizontally expanding gap, only dry processing such as provision of an interposing material like a packing is required, which is simple processing. Thus, mounting work of a balcony unit 30 can be facilitated.
