PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper making machine-controlling device capable of performing a profile control smoothly by moving the position of a cutter with an operator and performing a corresponding correction again at the paper making machine-controlling device side. SOLUTION: This paper making machine-controlling device for ejecting a white water from an operating side 2 to a wire part 6 and performing an operational output to an operating end so as to keep a paper quality within a prescribed range measured at measuring ends 4 positioned at a downstream side of the wire part, is characterized by being equipped with a means 12 for detecting the position of a cutter 10 installed at the wire part for cutting off the ear of the paper in the paper width direction and a means 26 for correcting the correspondent positions of the plural operating ends positioned in paper width direction and plural measuring ends positioned in paper width direction on detecting that the position of the cutter is changed by the cutter position detecting device.
