<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a number of commodities with carrying means to thereby execute storage work and shorten a stand-by time for the carrying means to thereby prepare other works. SOLUTION: Commodity storage facilities comprises commodity placement sections 10 in which a plurality of commodities A are freely placed to be stored in storage shelves 2 having a plurality of storage sections 1 and carrying means for storing a set maximum number or more of commodities in the storage sections 1 after received from the commodity placement sections 10. Control means H for controlling the operation of the carrying means execute carrying work by using the carrying means immediately when the number of the commodities A in the commodity placement sections 10 is a set maximum number or less and a judged set number or more which is set greater than 2, and it is made in readiness if it is less than the judged set number so that the carrying work is executed when it is the judged set number before a set time passes and the carrying work is executed at the time when it is not the judged set number even after the set time passed.</p> |
