PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely confirm the operation of a controller controlling program by executing the controlling operation of an interpreter for a controller with an optional timing by each control period in addition to normal consecutive execution. SOLUTION: In an operator console 5, a switch 30 is connected to a side A to set a debug mode and a timing setting means 33 is set to 'normal mode' from a keyboard 14. In this mode, an interpreter 22 for a controller is started by each control period to continuously execute the control of the controller. At the time of setting to 'one shot mode', the interpreter 22 is started by only one control period by an operation instruction from the keyboard 14. Though interpreting of an intermediate code file 23 for the controller is not executed normally, information in a terminal table 24 can be delivered and received between with a control part 10 via a simulating communication means 31. Thus, an operator can refer to and confirm the control execution result of the controller during debugging at all time.
