PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To closely adhere a pipe to a partitioning plate in the exhaust pipe composed of a pipe formed out of a large diameter part, and of a small diameter part having a gradual change part of diameter between the large and small diameter parts, disposed with a partitioning plate fitted in the pipe. SOLUTION: In a state that a pipe and a partioning plate are separated before the partitioning plate 3 is pressed in the pipe 2, the radius of curvature R1 of a first curved part 10 formed between the large diameter part 9 of the pipe 2 and the gradual change part 8, the radius of curvature R3 of a third curved part 15 of the partitioning plate formed between the large diameter part 9 of the pipe 2 and the gradual change part 8, the radius of curvature R2 of a second curved part 11 formed between the small diameter part 7 of the pipe 2 and the gradual change part 8, and the radius of curvature R4 of a fourth curved part 16 for the partitioning plate 3 formed between the small diameter part 7 of the pipe 2 and the gradual change part 8, form the respective curved parts so as to satisfy the relations of R1>R3 and R2<R4. The partitioning plate 3 is pressed in the pipe 2.
