PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part positioning device capable of positioning a part with good workability and high accuracy. SOLUTION: A part positioning device is provided with a part operating means 21 engaged with a part 2 placed on bases 1a, 1b to switch pressing force to large or small to press or move the part 2, a screw loosening means 22 for loosening screws 3a, 3b fastening or fixing the part 2 to the bases 1a, 1b, an automatic stage means for moving the part operating means 21 and the screw loosening means 22 on the bases 1a, 1b, a sensor 4 for confirming the accuracy of a state where the part 2 is pressed against the bases 1a, 1b by means of the part operating means 21, and a part positioning operation control means which performs the fastening of the screws 3a, 3b by the screw loosening means 22 in response to the confirmation results of the sensor when the accuracy of the part-pressed state is good and which permits the respective means to repeat the part 2 moving operation by small pressing force, the part 2 pressing operation by large pressing force, confirming operation when the accuracy of the part pressed state is not good, and to execute the clamping of the part 2.
