PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary cofferdam constructing method for a construction facilitating the installation and removal of a cofferdam plate. SOLUTION: This constructing method is to fix and install a construction 2 on a water bottom 1, a coffering steel shell 5 formed in a plate shape on which a flap 3 for water stop is provided on a lower edge and on which a floating body 4 is provided free to connect and disconnect to and from it is prepared, and these coffering steel shells 5 are erected on the water bottom 1 by making them face against each other in parallel with a specified interval. Additionally, this engineering method is constituted of a process to drive support piles 6 on the water bottom 1 from inside of the coffering steel shells 5 and to fasten these support piles 6 and coffering steel shells 5, a process to respectively drive sheet piles 7 along the support piles 6, a process to inject water stop mortar 8 in the circumference of a connecting surface of these sheet piles 7 and coffering steel shells 5, a process to drain water between the opposed sheet piles 7 and to drill exposed water bottom soil tdown to specified depth, a process to set a construction 2 on his drilled part and to inject water to a drain part, a process to disconnect the support piles 6 and the coffering steel shells 5 of the sheet piles 7 from each other and a process to remove the coffering steel shells 5.
