<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical sensor in which the fluctuation of the value of light quantity loss caused by temperature fluctuation is small and which can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: An optical sensor is constituted in such a way that upper and lower sensor bases 1 and 2 are formed by molding a resin, such as the liquid crystal polymer, etc., the coefficient of thermal expansion of which largely varies between the flowing direction and its perpendicular direction and an optical lens 4, a polarizer 6, an optical element 7, an analyzer 8, and an optical lens 9 are successively arranged between the bases 1 and 2. In addition, optical fibers 12 and 13 are arranged on both sides. When a resin having a coefficient of thermal expansion of <=5×10-6/ deg.C in the flowing direction is used, the variation in dimension of the sensor in the direction of its optical axis can be reduced and the fluctuation of the value of light quantity loss caused by temperature fluctuation becomes smaller.</p> |
