<p>An image forming device for forming images continuously with no high-temperature offset and fixing defect in a short processing time, comprising number-of-sheets storage means in which the number of sheets passed in the previous continuous image formation is stored, time-measuring means for measuring the elapsed time from the end of the previous continuous image formation, and a CPU for limiting the number of sheets on which images are formed at a first copying speed at which the number of sheets to be copied per unit time is large when another continuous image formation is performed on the basis of the number of recording sheets of the previous image formation and the elapsed time and changes the copying speed to a second copying speed at which the number of sheets copied per unit time is small if the number of sheets exceeds the limited number.</p> |
