PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building with a carport which enables an automovile to easily enter and leave the carport, and allows a passenger to ride in and get out of the vehicle. SOLUTION: There are provided a carport 5 for parking an automovile 11, and an entrance 6 arranged adjacently to the carport 5. A carport opening 5A for the automovile 11 to enter and leave the carport, and an entrance opening 6A of the entrance 6 are arranged adjacently to each other in an elevation view, and the entrance opening 6A is arranged at a location retreating toward a room with respect to the carport opening 5A by a dimension D1 in a plan view. Since the position of the entrance opening 6A retreats toward the room with respect to the position of the carport opening 5A in the plan view, a space outside the entrance opening 6A can be used as a space for the automovile 11 to enter and leave the carport, which allows the automovile 11 to easily enter and leave the carport 5.
