PURPOSE: An off delay release unit is provided to prevent a loss of an electric or electronic device due to a moment interruption of an external alternating current power. CONSTITUTION: A voltage drop discriminating circuit(10) detects and discriminates a drop of an input alternating current voltage. A rectification circuit(20) converts the input alternating current voltage into a direct current voltage and outputs a constant voltage having a predetermined amplitude. A timer(30) limits an output of a signal only for a time when an output signal of the voltage drop discriminating circuit(10) is set. An electronic switch(60) switches a signal for a time limited by the timer(30) and supplies or intercepts a current. A counter(40) counts the number of signals outputted from the voltage drop discriminating circuit(10). A display section(50) displays the signal counted by the counter(40).
