SLAG DEGREE-OF-OXIDATION MEASUREMENT PROBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag degree-of-oxidation measurement probe for modifying the quality of slag reflecting a measurement result in steel-making by easily and rapidly measuring the degree of oxidation of slag in a steel-making process. SOLUTION: A measurement electrode 27 that is composed of steel is provided for a standard electrode 3 with a solid electrolyte having oxygen ion conductivity in one-end closed pipe shape and a reference electrode for giving a specific oxygen potential being arranged in the solid electrolyte. A slag accommodation chamber 33 for accommodating and retaining the slag inside with an opening for allowing the slag to flow in is provided at the measurement electrode. The standard electrode is inserted and arranged so that it is positioned in the slag accommodation chamber at least partially, thus reliably accumulating the slag in the slag accommodation chamber when a probe is dipped into a melted steel and forming a balanced reaction part between iron and iron oxide between the standard electrode and the measurement electrode.
