PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate identifying processing without making a device large and expensive. SOLUTION: In a collation dictionary 6, respective dictionaries are stored while being divided into plural groups on the basis of a number of effective bits in an iris code. When performing collation, an effective bit classifying part 4 classifies the group of dictionaries in the collation dictionary 6, to which a reagent belongs, on the basis of the number of effective bits in the iris code of the reagent. A collation part 5 collates the dictionary in the collation dictionary 6 of the group classified by the effective bit classifying part 4 with the iris code of the reagent. |
