PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monocular vision type head mounted display made comparatively small in size and light in weight and realizing the adjustment of an eye point with simple constitution by easy operation. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a housing 154 including a white LED 12 being a point light source emitting white light, a condenser lens 14, a scattering plate 17, a liquid crystal display 16 and an image-formation lens 18, and a fixing part 172 movably fixing the housing 154 on spectacles by holding a lens 163 by the elastic force of a spring 167 through elastic members 165 and 169. Thus, the housing is movably fixed on the spectacles by the fixing part 172, so that structure is not complicated and the optical axis of the light emitted from the housing is adjusted to the eye point by the easy operation.
