PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a jig by which a breaking of wire is hardly taken place, while the structure is simple, at a metallic wire diameter reduction time even if the metallic wire terminal part becomes fine, wherein polishing elements are supported respectively on opposed faces of a pair of holders whose base end parts are connected openably/closably so as to polish the metal wire by nipping and pulling out operations of the terminal to be finalized. SOLUTION: This jig is provided with a pair of holders 4, 5 whose base end parts 1, 2 are connected with an axis 3 openably/closably. Polishing elements 8, 9 are supported on the opposed face of the holders, respectively for polishing the metallic wire terminals to be finalized by a nipping and pulling them out operation. Twisting force is not thereby added to the metallic wire end. Also, on the opposed faces of the holders 4, 5 metal powder wiping off elements 16, 17 are supported respectively at the metal wire terminal pulling out side positions. The polishing elements 8, 9 are made of a polishing paper and plural polishing elements 8A, 9A-9D, whose surface roughness are different, are parallely disposed in a longitudinal direction of the holders 4, 5 in a way that the same roughness faces are opposed. They are supported exchangeably via cushion members 10, 11 being made of a rubber or the like.
