<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a laser beam in a capturing device without injuring the health condition of an occupant by providing a control device for reducing a transmission energy depending on a captured characteristic quantity, or hindering the transmission of a laser pulse. SOLUTION: A capturing device is provided with a laser 2 for transmitting a laser pulse controlled by a control unit 5. A capturing device 3 is used for receiving a characteristic quantity that becomes the reference for transmission energy. Then, a control device 4 evaluate a detected characteristic quantity, and intervenes in the control of the laser 2 as required for correction an operation, thus a characteristic quantity that becomes a reference of the transmission energy of the laser is captured by this device and the transmission energy is suppressed so that the following laser pulse has a reduced energy content based on the evaluation of the characteristic quantity. The occupant is protected also from the erroneous operation of a control unit for driving the laser. Normally, this type of control unit drives laser, and determines the pulse width and output of each laser pulse.</p> |
