PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folding machine capable of easily removing jammed paper. SOLUTION: Paper 3 placed on a paper feed table 2 is guided by a paper feed roller 4 and a guide plate 5, and is folded in a prescribed folding form such as a double folding form and a three folding form, using folding rollers 6a-6e, a first buckle 8, a second buckle 12, and a changeover guide 18. When a paper jam occurs, a cover is opened, a lever 19 rotates about a fulcrum 21 interlocking with this, and the folding rollers 6a-6c are separated from the folding rollers 6d, 6e. At this time, a switch 20 operates to detect opening of the cover. When jammed paper is inserted into the first buckle 7, a driving motor 9 is rotated at a high speed to move a first buckle stopper 8 in the arrow S direction, namely in the opposite direction to a feeding direction of paper and to press out the jammed paper inserted into the first buckle 7. |
