PURPOSE: A private branch exchange(PBX) system is provided to a supply digital PBX service to a digital telephone subscriber by making the digital telephone subscriber connect to a PBX through a personal computer(PC) interface, and by making the subscriber perform a program for executing digital telephone functions of a PC of the subscriber. CONSTITUTION: A private branch exchange(PBX) system comprises a PBX(2), a computer(4), a signal generator, a reproducer, and an interface(3). The PBX transceives digital line signals including a digital voice signal and a digital telephone control signal with a preset first connecting system. The computer transceives the digital telephone control signal with a second connecting system. The signal generator filters a voice to generate an analog voice signal. The reproducer reproduces the analog voice signal to the voice. The interface transmits the digital telephone control signal to the computer with the second connecting system, and converts the digital voice signal into the analog voice signal. The interface transmits the analog voice signal to the reproducer, and converts the analog voice signal of the reproducer into the digital voice signal. The interface formats the digital telephone control signal received with the second connecting system and the digital voice signal to the digital line signals. The interface transmits the formatted digital line signals to a digital subscriber line.
