PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid abutting between the tip end of the guiding piece of a carrying path change-over body and the tip end of a sheet reveresely fed for changing over the carrying direction in a sheet inversion device. SOLUTION: This sheet inversion device is equipped with a sheet carrying path 80 carrying a sheet, reversely feeding means 60 and 60 reversely feeding a sheet having been carried over the sheet carrying path, a sheet inversion carrying path 65 leading a sheet to be reversely fed from the reversely feeding means branched out of the sheet carrying path, and with a carrying path change- over body 33 provided for a branching part between the sheet carrying path and a sheet inversion carrying path in such a way as to be tilted, the device is so constituted that a sheet to be reversely fed, is guided to the sheet inversion carrying path by means of the carrying path change-over body in a state that the tilting tip end 31a' of the carrying path change-over body abuts against the inner wall of the sheet carrying path, and an interference avoiding means 51b avoiding the interference of the tip end of a sheet to be reversely fed with the tilting tip end of the carrying path change-over body, is provided on the inner wall.
