PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reduction in the size of a backup battery and base station apparatuses as a whole, the reduction of power consumption and the stabilization of an output voltage. SOLUTION: A power supply voltage applied to a specific circuit 3 is set approximately the same as the voltage of a backup battery 6. When power supply is interrupted, the output voltage of the backup voltage 6 is applied to the specific circuit 3. Furthermore, the backup battery 6 is changed over, in accordance with a timing signal 2 from the specific circuit 3. The output voltage of the backup battery 6 is detected. If the output voltage of the backup battery 6 is reduced to a value lower than the lowest voltage for the operation of the specific circuit 3, the voltage output from the backup battery 6 is cut off. |
