PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control wall structure in which spaces for installing windows, doors, etc., or spaces for passages can be secured. SOLUTION: A vibration control structure is provided with an intermediate beam 17 which is provided as one horizontal member at sufficient intervals from a lower beam 19 and an upper beam 20 for dividing a wall space 23 specified by two posts 21 and 22 and the upper and lower beams 20 and 19 bridging the posts 21 and 22 and a vibration control device 2 housed in the lower space 27 divided by the beam 17. The vibration control device 2 is provided with a container 3, a movable plate 4 arranged in the container 3 with clearances in such a manner that the plate 4 can be moved in the direction A, and a viscous body (highly viscous body 5) housed in the container 3. The intermediate beam 17 bridges the posts 21 and 22 and both ends of the beam 17 are fixed to the posts 21 and 22 by welding, bolts and nuts, etc.
