PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can prevent an image failure and that is free from the increase of the running cost, while preventing attaching of moisture to paper. SOLUTION: In the image forming device 1 provided with a fixing device 2, a paper reverse carrying path 3 to carry out reversal of a front and a back surface of the paper and a both surface tray 4, the paper reverse carrying path 3 includes mutually opposedly arranged a 1st curved state reverse plate 5 positioned inside and a 2nd curved state reverse plate 6 positioned outside, and a plurality of carrying rolls 7 that carry the paper to a prescribed position on these 1st and 2nd curved state reverse plates are arranged. The 1st curved state reverse plate 5 is formed from a metal plate member, the 2nd curved state reverse plate 6 is formed from a mold member and when fixing and carrying velocity of the paper passing through the fixing device is V1 and the reverse carrying velocity of the paper passing through the paper reverse carrying path is V2, each paper carrying velocity is controlled so that V1>V2. |
