The invention concerns a surface wave device connected to a base with a conductive material anisotropic in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the surface wave device and the base. Said anisotropic conductive material ensures the mechanical strength and the encapsulation of the surface wave device. It is locally deposited in the base plane so as to ensure the presence of a cavity wherein the surface acoustic waves can be propagated.
