PURPOSE:To reproduce a picture with correct hue by detecting the relation between the timewise position of a video signal and the scanning position of an electron beam and scanning a red fluorescent body while shifting the timewise position of the video signal at the reception of a red signal, for example. CONSTITUTION:An output signal of a limiter amplifier 12 is formed into index signals having a phase difference of 120 deg. from each other by phase shifters 13, 14, 15 and fed to gain control circuits 19, 20, 21 are fed to signal processing circuits 2, 23, 24 respectively and compared with each index signal from the phase shifters 13, 14, 15. Then a delay characteristic is provided to the signal processing circuit 22 so that the leading edge of e.g., the red primary color signal is brought just before an R fluorescent element position on an index fluorescent screen. The similar delay characteristic is provided to the signal processing circuits 23, 24 and an index system color signal suitable for reproducing a correct color is outputted from adders 25, 26, 27.
