AUTOMATIC TARGET TRACKING APPARATUS AND FORMANCE EVALUATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An automatic image tracking device and a performance testing method thereof are provided to judge a performance at a developing step and perform a self testing during application. CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor(10) produces an artificial target having a predetermined motion pattern and generates an artificial target image data having the produced target. The microprocessor(10) compares a detected motion pattern with a predetermined motion pattern. An artificial target generator(40) receives the artificial target image data from the microprocessor(10) and generates a testing image signal by synchronizing the artificial target image data with a pixel clock from an image signal pre-processor. A motion detector detects a target and a motion pattern of the target included in the testing image signal from the artificial target generator(40).
