PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a sample dish position correcting device for easily correcting the position deviation of the sample dish of a thermobalance, with a relatively simple method. SOLUTION: A sample is placed on a sample dish at one tip of both the arms of a balance and a reference sample for thermal analysis is placed on the sample dish at the tip of the other, thus correcting the position of two sample dishes of a thermobalance for performing a thermal analysis, by arranging the sample and the reference sample in the same heating furnace. In this case, a sample dish mold 1 for positioning the two sample dishes, while supporting them from a lower portion and a height adjustment screw 2 for causing the position of the sample dish mold 1 to move vertically are provided.
