PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a previously mixed injectable composition for intravenous administration useful for treatment or prevention or various kinds of bacterial infectious diseases by including a previously mixed aseptic solution containing a specific tonic acting agent. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a previously mixed aseptic aqueous solution containing antibacterially effective amount of alatrofloxacin or its pharmaceutically permissible salt and two or more many tonic acting agents in which one of the acting agents is sodium chloride present in about 0.45% concentration and the other one or plural acting agents are selected from a group comprising dextrose, sucrose, mannitol, etc. Furthermore, it is preferable that alatrofloxacin mesylate is present in an amount of about 0.5 to about 7.0 mg/ml, sodium chloride in about 0.1 to 4.5 mg/ml, and glycerol in about 0.1 to 28 mg/ml, and lactic acid in about 0.1 to 2 mg/ml, and pH of the above solution is about 3-5.
