PURPOSE: A laser curtain sensor, which is used for a coordinate for sport game and a speed measurement device, is provided to allow its users to detect a quality, a coordinate and a speed, for various type balls. CONSTITUTION: A laser curtain sensor is characterized by comprising the following components, referring to accompanied figures. The sensor is incorporated into a frame with a rectangular shape to measure X and Y coordinates and speed of any materials penetrated through the frame. An X-axis transducer and an Y-axis receiver are arranged and mounted on both sides of the frame in a same distance. The X-axis transducer includes a transmitter circuit(1) and a laser diode(2), and the Y-axis receiver contains a laser detector(3) and a receiver kit(4). There is also mounted with a guide hole having the function of receiving the signals onto the X- and Y-axis.
