<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management system where each network unit can be used normally, without contradictions in setting the contents of a plurality of network equipment among the equipment. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a management server, provided with a policy information definition means and a setting information generating means to each network unit on the basis of policy information, and the system conducts setting information generating processing to each network equipment, setting information distribution processing to each network equipment, setting information install processing to each network equipment, setting validating processing, collection processing of setting information to each network equipment, and arrangement/matching property check processing of collected information. When a firewall exists between the management server and the network units, mutual authentication between the management server and each firewall and data encryption are conducted, a data relay program to the firewall is located to cause distribution of the setting information to be relayed.</p> |
