PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system to be remotely controlled, where a standby current can be reduced. SOLUTION: When a remote control wave is received, a high-speed oscillator 9 is activated and when the operation of the high speed oscillator 9 becomes stable, a clock changeover circuit 11 gives a high-speed clock which results from frequency division of a clock from the high-speed oscillator 9 to a remote control discrimination circuit 13 in place of a low speed clock resulting from frequency division of a clock from a low-speed oscillator 7 to allow the circuit 13 to interpret a remote control waveform.
