PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the screen mask aligning method capable of aligning a screen mask efficiently in a highly accurate manner. SOLUTION: In a screen mask aligning method in screen printing for aligning a screen mask 10 with a substrate 10, the recognition marks 6a, 6b of the substrate 6 and the openings 12A, 12B of the screen mask 10 are photographed by a single camera 20 and, on the basis of the photographing data, the positions of the recognition marks 6a, 6b and the openings 12A, 12B are recognized to calculate the relative positional shift quantity of the substrate 6 and the screen mask 10 to store the calculated result in a printing position memory part. By this constitution, the mutual alignment of optical systems required in a case using a plurality of cameras becomes unnecessary and aligning accuracy and aligning work efficiency can be enhanced. |
