PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hose from entanglement when it is taken up on a hose winding device. SOLUTION: A hose guide 5 installed on the frame of a hose winding device has a guide hole 12 whose inner diameter enlarges from the rear end face to the front, and in the front part, a conical flange 11 is provided, while a ring- shaped rib 13 is formed at the edge of the front face opening of the guide hole 12. When the hose is twisted and a loop is formed, the looped part contacts with the front face of the flange 11 when the hose is being taken up, and the rib 13 intrudes into the hose intersecting part. If a further winding is made, the looped part moves outward along the inclined surface of the flange 11 and goes out of the flange 11 to cause the loop to be opened and drawn in through the guide hole 12 to be wound on a drum.
