PURPOSE: A manual transmission for a vehicle improves shift quality and minimizes the generation of noise by implementing a reverse shift by a synchronizer. CONSTITUTION: A reverse gear(60) of a synchronizer(52) for reversing is directly connected with a ring gear(58) of a differential(10). Thus, on reverse speed changing, the reverse output of an input shaft(6) is directly transmitted to the differential(10) without passing through an output shaft(8). Therefore, the reverse shift implements the synchronizer(52), thereby improving shift quality and reducing an excessive load applied on a power transmitting system.
